Over the years, I have mastered the art of creating one-of-a-kind pressed flower jewelry to inspire self-love, care for others, and respect for the planet.

My mission is to help others feel beautiful and appreciative of our unique qualities. Like flowers, no two petals are the same ~ we must celebrate the diversity of life and who we truly are inside, no matter what's trending!

About the Founder

My name is Dr. Deborah and I am the founder of Apples & Oranges Jewelry and Apothecary. I earned my Ph.D. in Sociology with a focus in immigration and refugee studies.

I am highly involved in the nonprofit sector and currently serve as an Advocate for BeKinder Coffee in Dallas, TX where we provide essential job skills to refugees.

Through my work, art, & research, I spread awareness about immigration and encourage compassion, love, and understanding for marginalized groups.
